SALUT DAQUIN!

SALUT! Blondel, planche 4, appartement "p". ET VOILÀ!

Soul-mate comme La Vallière?

Bonjour! Es-ce que La Montespan était ta soul-mate? Merci! ”...Under self-hypnotic past life regression, I then learned I was a noble physician in year 1667. I was 47 at the time. As my focus was on soul-mates and not my professional, or political affiliations at the time, what I got was the soul-mate story. I was at a Convent, were I was attending to many of my patients. There I met Louise, a young (23 years old) and beautiful unhappy nun with brown light curls and deep blue eyes..." "...Madam de Montespan that helped her former Mentor, by now past rival, Louise de la Valliere, in referring me to the King, as a very accomplished physician, upon the death of his old physician, Doctor Valot. That is the way I became the King’s Principal Physician..."

Bonjour annonymous!

Did she ask you for a favour in return?

Billy

FAVORS?

Hi Billy,

No, no favors asked of Antoine Daquin by Louise de la Valliere. On the contrary she favorably referred him to become the King's Principal Physician, out of her very deep respect and gratitude toward him, as he healed her and litterally saved her life.

Best,

Off course!

No, not Louise de La valliere. Sorry. Did Montespan ask you for a favor in return?

Billy

No, No favors either

Hi again Billy,

You're welcome! Madam de Montespan didn't ask for any favors either. She loved the King dearly and wanted him to love her back. She secretely used different love potions for him, but not prescribed by Antoine Daquin. She was impressed by Antoine Daquin's reputation as a physician, and was looking only for the welfare and wellbeing of the King, when she recommended him to become the King's Principal Physician.

Blessings,

GOOD QUESTION!

I don't know how to answer your question, except that the queen did not have at the time as much influence on the king as Madam de Montespan.

?

Dear Claire,

At that time in France, it was rather customary and widely accepted to have love affairs outside the marriage. I do not imply Daquin was in love with any of the ladies at the court, nor that he had an extramarital affair, but it could be. During my regression I wasn't quite sure about this. However, the psychic confirming it was positive about it. At this time I would rather keep names incognito, because of my uncertainty.

A Historical Truth

Dear Claire,

Fagon didn't like Daquin, as professionally, as a physician, Daquin was far superior to him, but was sure about his position as the new Principal Physician of the King, because of the full support by the King's new mistress, Mm de Mentainon, who instigated the dismissal of Daquin.

The dismisal was based on false accusations initiated and concocted by her that Daquin used his prestigious position to advance his son and all his family to higher positions in the kingdom. The king was enamored to her and believed her without checking to make sure whether his old friend and doctor, Daquin, is or isn't culpable. And Daquin was innocent, becoming a victim of French court intrigue. The truth was that Mm de Mentainon hated her rival, Mm de Montespan, the previous mistress of the King, as well as Louise de la Valliere, his first mistress, both being very close friends to Daquin. That is why Mm de Mentainon orchestrated the all sham, resulting in Daquin's dismisal by the unaware King of her true motives. Daquin was terribly hurt that his loyal and close friendship the king and him enjoyed over 22 years, was shattered. He felt betrayed by his very good friend, the King.

I hope this answers your question.

Best wishes,

Adrian

Bonjour Claire

Non?

Hi Beauport,

True, at the time it was rather a way of life, and accepted in the high society as proper, from the king and queen and down the hierarchy, to marry out of nobility and financial considerations. Daquin was not an isolated case, but part of the culture at the time. Though he cared deeply for Margueritte, his wife, and wanted only her good, he didn't feel her as his soul-mate.

Intrigue

Hallo JFK,

Pas du tout. Daquin's sense of fairness, love and respect for others, prevented him from being involved in intrigue.

Adrian

Merci

beaucoup. JFK
